I didn't know if anyone here lived in the KC area might wanna take a ride on July 24th. I have been organizing a ride with my regular group of people who usually have burgman's and such.
The ride would start at the QT west of 35 at 291 where we met when we went to Jamesport. Along the route that I have drawn we will drive up some country roads and then past Motorcycle Closeouts store in Smithville. It's not much of a ride from QT to there, but I thought it'd be a good place to go if anyone was interested.
From there we sneak up some back roads to Plattesburg and then on up to Cameron. The ride from Liberty to Cameron is approximately 57 miles. At Cameron we will eat at Ma & Pa's kettle restaurant that has some good "down home" food.
The ride back to Liberty takes us down 69 and 33 back to our original starting point. It's approximately 43 miles making our entire journey about 100 miles.
My goal here was to have a scenic leisurely drive on 55mph roads. It's gonna be late July and a little hot but I think it's a nice ride and will be a lot of fun. If there are any other stops you'd like to add to the ride please don't hesitate to make suggestions!
I'm thinking about meeting at QT at 9:30am. Leaving Motorcycle Closeouts about 10:45ish then to Cameron by noon. Take an hour to eat then a nice leisurely ride back and be back to QT by 2:30-3pm.
