It had 14's. Only thing is, it ran fine for 1800 miles. I may try 11's when the weather cools down into the 90's, see if it will do even better. You may be correct on one or more hanging up.

Try to stable the gauge. 20 is nice. Can you go for a ride with it connected? John That was the best I could do. Put it all back together, did a quick after break down detail cleaning on it and took it for a ride. Its running great. Good take of and top end. Now what fixed it ? The roller weights new belt or heet in the gas tank (Bad Gas) ? ?Lol one of those three take your pick. Thanks for all the replies!!! I once again have a happy wife!

Hey all, My wife has a 2008 Lance Vintage with 2300 miles on it. The issue we are having is it is slow to get to power. It stars and runs fine but when you snap the throttle its slow to rev up. Here is what Ive done thus far,
New carb New fuel filter New Minkuni fuel pump New Vac and fuel lines Adjusted the valves Changed CDI New Coil New spark plug Took air cleaner assy off and checked for cracks and dirty filter Changed roller weights New Clutch Sea foam in gas tank
I'm totally confused at this point. Could it be bad gas? Any impute would be appreciated. Dave

No prob. I was thinking since e-ton was not chinese made, it would be more valuable. They still make 2 strokes that are EPA aprooved to sell in the U.S.

Hi, I recently acquired a brand new 2004 e-Ton Beamer. Brand new meaning just that. I acquired it from a dealer who no longer sells them. It now has twenty mils on it. I am thinking about selling it for 1350.00. Would that be a fair price. I cut the green wire on the CDI and she will do about 40 ish. Please give me your input on its value. Thank you.

Wow that sounds like a fantastic ride. My wife and I road our motocycles down sky line drive, and part of the blue ride parkway to Charlottsville back in 2006.We would love to do the dragon's tail some day. Have fun and be safe.

I totally understand the point to this thread. And the frustrations are valid. And I also know that it would be almost impossable to find a forum with a more friendlier group of people. That is why I wrote my post. Im just saying in the past, I've seen these types of venting threads turn into a b_tching session. Just wanted to throw it out there befor any one got the wrong idea of how truly helpful and friendly Scooter Doc's really is. I hope I didnt sound accusatory. That truly wasn't my intention.
