Thanks Rich.I will trace my vapor lines this week end.I think your rite about the electrical supply. It just dosnt seem to engauge to allow extra gas to flow into the carb.I will explore it this week end.

Oil leak

I have had my BMS ev9 for about a month and a half.I know some one told me watch out for oil leaks.Well it leaks.Nothing major but it seems to be seeping out my air breather onto the CVT cover and also under the head. Any pointers? I also had to put a new carb on it today after cleaning the original one twice.Geesh this thing is giving me a rough start lol. Also I have tried three different enrichers I cant get one of them to work.

kczukiman, Nice Work!! Glad you were able to correct the threads on the shaft. That would of been a disaster if you would not have been able to re-thread it. But the nut should have been destroyed since its aliumium and the shaft is harden steel. Anyway glad you got it all fixed up. Ride Safe, Alleyoop Thanks,I was sweating with every turn of the die.

success!!!! I re threaded to 7/16 20 thread.WOW what a relief.Put a grade 8 nut with nylon on it and snuged her down nice ( no impact).I tested 17/10 g combo and its the cats meow for me,that dang speedo registered 60 mph. That's the best I have done thus far.

When taking off my old variator I discoverd I must have cross threaded the nut.I went to ace and purchased a new 12mm 125 die and nut.Now there is too much slop and the nut wont stay tight. What would be the next step down I need to re thread? It seems that with my new belt it dosnt want to squish up when I tighten the variator nut.Geesh just my luck.

One thing I noticed is while changing out the rollars I only have one of those little groove clips instead of 3 that go on the backplate that holds the rollars. So I orderd a new variator. It seems to want to clank at low rpm's.

Ok,I got my tach today,I am running 17g/12g rollers. On level groung@ 40 mph scooter speedo I am running 5120 rpm's. @ 54 mph max speed it is running 7260 rpm's. Is that a sweet spot? Or can I afford to run 11's with the 17's ?
