That's right...there are many others like it, but this one is mine! Pretty standard, similar to what many others have done. Got a big 'ol PVC elbow from Lowe's for a couple of bucks. Scavenged bolts and misc. hardware. Cut off one end to match the fan O.D., sanded it flat and JB welded at the joint (ground relatively smooth after curing). Clamps also securing. Cleaned and painted all flat black. Noticed that the pipe was a little too close for comfort to the exhaust, so I fabbed a ghetto heat shield for the bottom of the pipe from a strip of aluminum and some graphite gasket material. This big boy was protruding just a little too much, so I had to cut out a well in the fender. Dremeled this with little issue, had to put in a second cut to accommodate flex of the back end. Sealed the rim with some hi-grade automotive stripping. Expensive as hell, but I can't say how wonderful this stuff is! Pipe was $4. Stripping was $10, but I've now got lots of this stuff left for future projects. Satisfaction of making it myself, from entirely "off label use" materials: priceless. ;D

Pretty slick, I'd say!
I'm sold on these, as in my 105 degree climate they actually seem to help. Heck, they look cool too... I especially like your trimming of the cut plastic! Looks factory.
NICE WORK!

From one who did a very similar mod, yours looks freakin sweet!!! I cut out the grill, but epoxied in a piece of window screen because I did not want big stuff being sucked in. I have fished out a couple of bees, and at least one small rock so it was definately worth it.

Thanks for the props, all! It's been crazy hot and muggy here too, so I figure it's gotta help.
JR- I thought about removing that grille, or relocating, but not only does it help maintain structural integrity of the shroud, I'm kinda worried about this baby sucking up some poor hapless chihuahua off the side of the road as I go by! Like Jake, I worry about stuff getting in there too.
I was surprised at how much air just the fan itself moves through, without even the added benefit of windage while moving. This thing *SUCKS*! XD
Up next: variator, rollers, and a longer belt (budget allowing)...
