On a yy250t water cooled engine (172mm) there's an external oil line from the crankcase up to the cylinder head. The top two banjo bolts are the same size, but, one has a bigger holed drilled through the side of the bolt than the other. The manual says to put the black banjo on the top, but, both of my banjos are chromed. Which banjo goes to the top/cylinder head?

OK, wasn't getting any responses to this so I ordered the two bolts from an Honda parts dealer. The top bolt has the smaller hole in it. Hope this information helps others out there.

Sorry man, I have had my 250 vertical apart many times and I never noticed a difference on the bolts. I didn't want to give you erroneous information although I didn't think it mattered. If I had to guess I would have said the upper bolt that had to do with just splash would be the smaller one. But again, I just wasn't sure.

No problem. There's a ton of things to do and we can't do all of them all of the time.
