Ditched my Chinese 150 and bought a 1985 Honda Elite (Ch250) for $50 less. Its butt ugly but boy does it drive nice. Everything is so cushy and smooth. Its in OK shape, 13,000 miles, everything on it works properly. The brake pedal is s cool feature.

We have the manual to that bike if you need it. It's in the manuals section under non-Chinese. Yes it is a little fugly but they are nicely made:

The photo you posted there- is it the first generation or second? I was under the impression the first gen Elites were more boxy but mine looks like that one.

It's a Honda. You're in for miles of smiles. Yes, the Chino bikes are getting better every year, but Honda is already there and your little putter is born to run. Just be sure and put a throttle block so you can't open it up all the way. That will help save your engine and make it last longer.
