Do these have electric fuel pumps? I just got a used one that runs great and it has a "buzz" with the key on engine off. I can't hear it, I can just feel it. A small vibration.

If it has EFI then they will have an electric fuel pump if a carb only if the previous owner put in a electric fuel pump otherwise it is a Vacuum operated fuel pump or Petcock. A fuel pump IF the carb is higher than the fuel tank a Petcock if the carb is lower than the fuel tank.
The buzz could be the fan(but they should only come on if the motor is hot)or fuel pump(IF it has one). What I think it;s something that is stuck on like maybe your horn or turn signal relay etc.. Test those two with the key on and motor not working. Also check for any LIGHTS that are not working with the key on bulbs can make a buzzing sound, how are you gauges working, Volt meter, Fuel gauge etc.. Alleyoop

Pull the carb supply line, turn on the key, if it spurts gas it's an electric pump. If it spurts when you crank it it's a vacuum pump. Most of them are vacuum.
