I just bought a new Heihin pd24j carb for my scooter and unlike the original carb, at the bottom of the new carb, next to the bowl drain tube is what I'm guessing is a vacuum port. My old carb just had the bowl drain tube & this new port is confusing me as I can find no info on what is supposed to connect to it. Can anyone enlighten me please?

If you look the inside it is blocked off, what they did was they were going to put the drain screw there but to save money and drilling and threading they left it blocked and put the drain screw on the end of the drain hose.
So nothing to worry about just a extra piece sticking out..LOL
