So, yeah I know. When I remove the cover to replace the belt, do I need to remove the kick starter lever?

Thank you. Anything I need to be aware of vis a vis alignment when I put the cover back on?

If the BENDIX is above the Variator, Yes, the end of the Bendix Shaft fits into a the slot built into the CVT Cover to keep the shaft straight. If your cvt cover looks like this you can see where the BENDIX shaft fits in on the cvt cover. Also if your motor is a 139QMB and the kickstarter shaft is on the outside of the cvt cover by the variator you do not have to take the outside kickstarter arm off, as you can see it is connected to the half gear inside the cvt cover. sometimes depending where the kick start gear in the cover, you may need to pull the lever down till it meshes .
