The motor is a 4 stroke TWIN CYLINDER JOB has tons of low end torque it is a 270cc motor. So much for that motor and is not like your old motor which was a smaller motor RIGHT. So your trying to stuff a completely new motor in the bike am I right so far. The Three yellow wires coming from the stator go to the R/R, The RED/BLACK is the power wire for the CDI and the BLUE is for the PLUSE the All green are grounds. So connect the two WIRES FROM THE STATOR to your cdi which you should only have two to connect RED/BLACK and THE BLUE Pulse. The yellows should plug into the R/R. The Wierd plug is as they say for gear positioning but you apparenlty do not have such a thing on your current bike (RIGHT) so let it hang and hope for the best when you shift and no idiot lights flashing for the gearing. So follow the diagram you put up looks good IF the wires from the stator match if so it should rock and roll. Alleyoop IS YOUR CDI LIKE THIS ONE OR DIFFERENT:

That wiring is AC, if it was DC then the POWER to the CDI would be 12Volts from the Igintion when you turn the KEY ON.
MY bad on the TWIN..I read the info from the wrong motor..there is one like that but a twin..HEHE Alleyoop

i wanted the twin it was only $600 but that was 300 above what i could afford. From what ive seen in thailand though that little lifan v twin is epic. If thats AC and mines DC then the black and red wire from my stator is redundant right. Plus the red wire from my R/R goes to the battery and to the ignition switch then the black wire goes to the power on side of the ignition and then too the power in of the cdi

If thats AC and mines DC then the black and red wire from my stator is redundant right. Plus the red wire from my R/R goes to the battery and to the ignition switch then the black wire goes to the power on side of the ignition and then too the power in of the cdi Are you saying the RED WIRE coming out of the R/R splits and one leg THEN goes to the ignition and the othere leg goes to the battery? I have never seen anything like that. What you will see is the RED wire from the R/R goes to the battery THAT IS TO CHARGE THE BATTERY THAT IS IT. Now there will be a RED WIRE with a FUSE on it that is on the POSITIVE POST that goes to the IGNITION, the IGNITION has 12VOLTS ALL THE TIME. WHen you then turn on the KEY it contacts a BLACK wire that then feeds the rest of the accessories on the bike. So I what I am saying is the NEW MOTOR HAS A STATOR that has a POLE DEDICATED to feed the CDI power which is the RED/BLACK wire. So I am saying you do NOT HAVE A DC SYSTEM you have a AC SYSTEM which by the way the motor will run without a battery or if the battery is weak. A DC system without a battery your motor will NOT RUN.
