Hi all,
I bought a replacement enricher (auto-choke) for my 49cc TGB r50x. It arrived today and looks nearly identical to the one I'm replacing -- except that the male connector it has is definitely too small for the female connector that the current enricher wire/connector plugs into. The male-female connectirs currently in place are wider yellow ones. This new enricher male connector is slim and black.
I thought I could scour the Internet again for the enricher that is JUST RIGHT. Or I could learn how to extract the wires from this new enrichers male connector and plug it into the current male connector system in place.
Any thoughts on if and how I can do this? Thanks!!

Thanks!! tom There's a bunch of ways to do this.... The cheapest method is just splice them together then solder. Of course, if you want the abillity to connect and disconnect, then get a couple of quick connects from any auto, hardware or or big box retail store... The best method IMO is to get an adapter plug. 3M Quick connects: In order to do the job you'll need a wire crimper with cutting shears. You likely 2 oof each #11 and #17

I have had that issue on cars and just removed the wires from the connector on the wire harness and then plug then into the new device. To make removal easier you may wish to get an extractor tool that should be available at auto parts stores. Or make one. It's kind of a pic that you press into the holder to depress the springy thing that keeps the wire in the holder.
