Okay whats up guys first time owning a scooter I was given a Tank in bad condition and disassembled by a friend going to work abroad I bought a scrappy gy6-b 161QMK I believe so my questions are. 1.Motor mount relocation (moving it back three inches or so) is there a general rule of thumb or equation or tech advice for me. 2. Shock size selection any tips hints. 3.The oil cooler lines are very long can they be shortened for mounting, where do most people mount theirs, and how do you do it. 4. And final question is about the tires can the 161QMK support a 16" wheel? if so difficulty level?

So you want to do a stretch type scooter like a mad dog I take it,,,you will need to move all the existing mounting points back the same amount for all equally ,,,if you don't cut the existing mounts and use them you need to fabricate new ,,,,as far as shock length if you are using the original upper mounts that will be determined when you get the front of the engine hanging on the new mount then the desired ride height can be determined,,,,unless you have a long case it's a no go on the 16",,,the oil lines can be trimmed ,,,if the existing lines are crimped ,,cut in the middle and use double ended barbed hose couplings with new clamps,,,this should not be an issue with pressure cause it is very low,,,,(edit,,,,holy sh!t look at the length of those oil lines!!!! Jesus,,,you may want to source shorter lines with banjo fittings after the engine is mounted and you determine the length needed,,,when you further decide where on the machine you want to mount it)
