So you want to do a stretch type scooter like a mad dog I take it,,,you will need to move all the existing mounting points back the same amount for all equally ,,,if you don't cut the existing mounts and use them you need to fabricate new ,,,,as far as shock length if you are using the original upper mounts that will be determined when you get the front of the engine hanging on the new mount then the desired ride height can be determined,,,,unless you have a long case it's a no go on the 16",,,the oil lines can be trimmed ,,,if the existing lines are crimped ,,cut in the middle and use double ended barbed hose couplings with new clamps,,,this should not be an issue with pressure cause it is very low
