Just a quick and to some stupid question the wiring harnesses for these scooters is typically a 16 gauge??? And the battery terminals Im guessing 10 gauge? Thanks for the help

that sounds about right to me ,,,probably 8 for the battery wires,,,,,Alley will chime in here i'm sure

cyborg I havent been on this forum long now,as I only recently obtained a dismantled disaster scooter for free from a friend and Im starting to think Alley may not like me he hasnt chimed in on any of my posts yet

Stock wire gauge is ridiculously small.... I have found 22 gauge on my stator circuit (main charging wires to R/R)
I have found that AWG 18 is good for everything except:
your starter and battery hots... Your frame and engine ground should get 14~12 AWG...
16 AWG is usable and will actually be better, but, it's harder to work with, won't fit stock plugs and more costly.
