They claim a car tire on a bike is as good on corners as a bike tire. I just happen to ready to try a car tire on my majesty. Probably later on this summer. Its called dark siding. If the side walls are at all flexible the tire on dmartin95's scooter will track decent too.

Have watched videos of rear tires in a lean where camera was placed under the bike and from what I have seen they track just as good as a round profile bike tire. (with at least as much rubber in contact with the road) And they last 4 times as long. I don't think I would be tempted to race one though.

Ok so this only has 66 miles on it and I have been not so ruff with it but can't seem to go over 6 k rpms would that be cause its not broken in ? Also when I slow down with the front brake and I come to a stop there is a squeek in the back wheel. It does not do it when I use the back brake. I'm thinking belt might be rubbing as the back tire is slowing down slower then the belt ?
