Send them an email so you have a written record of the conversation,,, that way they can't say " we never said that ",,, wait for the paperwork,,, it will probably have the frame number,,, then request a new plate,,,, with the correct number ( frame number) on it,,, number 9 probably has number threes plate ,,

The DMV will use the frame as the legitimate number, the frame is what is actually registered on all two wheeled vehicles. So long as the frame matches the title, you can remove that erroneous plate. If the frame doesn't match the title, you will have a legitimate complaint. At that point, you can tell the dealer you will be contacting their licensing agency if they don't fix the issue. You must give them time to respond in good faith, so don't be too impatient.

Just got off the phone ! The vin number they had in their system is wrong ! They said always go by the frame vin# they are expediting my paperwork out as a sry for all the issues. They also told me the manufacturer is sending me the proper plate . so looks like I need to go this wkend with out riding but .... Hopefully I see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Right on! There are few times you feel as good as you do walking out of the DMV with your new ride all papered up. Hope you enjoy the ride!

Is it difficult to start turning/leaning with a square rear wheel like that?
