Symtoms - sometimes stalls out. When comming to a stop. Not often. But when it dose it floods its self out or thats what it seems. Then when i. Ride it. It spits and sputters. More so between the speeds of 20 - 25 mph. After 25mph. Runs just like it should. I loose a lot of power on hills. Ie. Running 35-40mph. And drop down to 20 by the peak of the hill. I have run carb cleaner in it. Adjusted air fule screw. It calmed it down did not fix it. No vacume leaks. Plug is less then 3 months old
Air filter is clean i use high octain with fuel stablizer. I just cant figure it ou i love the scooter and i rely on it alot as my main for of transportaion. Its a 2008 jmstar yy50qt-6 maybe some one can help

Stalling out coming to a stop or at low rpms sounds like your valves need to be adjusted. Set them both to .003 inchs. Right now you are adjusting the carb to compensate for the loss of compression due to the tight valves. So after you adjust your valves you will need to re-adjust your carbs fuel mixture.

How hard is it for some one whos never done it before
It dose it hot and cold just far worse cold. What information would i need to give to get a concreat diagnosis

005 is ok so long as there is good drag on the feeler, and you pulled up on the rocker arm as you tested with the feeler. If you don't pull up on the rocker arm as you slide the feeler around, it may feel right when in fact it's too loose. Ive had to re-do valves a couple of times because I overlooked this and ended up with clatter instead of faint tapping.

Ok does that apply for a 50cc scooter carburetor as well do I want do I want to hat do I want to get the highest rpms highest rpms sorry for the bad typing on my cell sorry for the bad typing on my cell phone cell cell phone

Yes the Carb tuning applies to ALL 4 STROKEs 50cc, 150cc,250+cc's etc. Take your time 1/4 to much in either direction means a lot. Usually if you turn it CLOCKWISE until it stops then turn it COUNTER CLOCKWISE 2 1/2 turns it will be pretty close and it should run descent. From 2 1/2 turns out it should not take to much in either direction to get the mixture really good.

Now temperature effects the MOTORS if it is cold like below 50 then motors need MORE FUEL if in the 70 and up range the motors need LESS FUEL. But once you get the carb tuned the temp changes will not effect it as much the motor will either gain a little power or loose a little power all depends on how the mixture is set.

If you set the mixture when it was hot then when in the evening when it cools down you will notice the motor is a little more peppy. The opposite will occure if you set the mixture when it was cool then when it gets hot you will notice a little loss of power.

Very easy to tell if its a 2 stroke or 4 stroke:
2 strokes The Spark Plug is usually on top of the head.
4 strokes the sprak plug is on the side of the head plus it has a valve cover on the head:
