Mornin Boys, I have a question for y'all. No matter where we go on the trike, we have hollers to get out of. By the time we get to the top of some holler's, we are down to about 25/30 MPH, we have some high hollers. What would be the cheapest, easiest, best mod to do to our 150 to be able to acquire and keep a higher speed? I don't believe the clutch is slipping, not even a lil. After I adjusted the carb to where it's not running lean, and when were doing about 25mph on the flats and I give it the throttle, I can feel it pull a heck of a lot more then before. Any ideas??

you probably could squeak another 5mph or so out of it ,but i think you got it at optimum output,,,it's a 150 correct?,,,i can't believe you're doing 30mph as it is,,, a scooter built into a trike two up?,,,,,,,cheapest,,fastest way,,,without too much ado,,,nitros,,,easy install there when you need it not when you don't,,,it's just an oxygenator it helps burn more of whats already in the combustion chamber,,,,it's not the magical/mystical juice that everyone thinks it is,,,when you push the button you will have more torque and thats what you're after

Question HOBBLES? Example: Say when you hit the bottom of the Holler your doing 40 at 6000 rpms. Then as your going up the Holler DOES your RPMS DROP a LOT or do they stay around 6000 maybe a couple hundred lower, OR do they drop down drastically to say 4-5000 rpms by the time you hit the top. You got it Bro, if the rpms are not holding the weights are a little to heavy.

Ok, the first hill is steep and has 2 sharp turns in it. I am by myself and climbing. Click. The second only has 1 turn in it but is still steep. Again, by myself. Clicly. What's the verdict? (it's not easy driving with one hand and filming with the other)

nitros,,,cheap and only there when you want/need it,,,i do have to caution you tho,,,,it is very addicting,,,but it's nice to have when you need a little extra temporary hp,,, generally will net you 20-25% depending on the nozzle jet and a few other factors,,,AND the mill will stay reliable,,,as long as you don't lean on it ALL THE TIME

It held the rpms so all is good. Was that at wide open throttle? What is your rpms on the flats? Now these motors make their max HP at around 7500 rpms. So if your not getting 7K+ rpms at wide open throttle you can get a little bit better. Alleyoop

Not a problem get on the road and crank it up and hold it at wide open throttle and see how many rpms it gets up to. Alleyoop

Ok, it will hit and stay in the 7000's. I did get it into 8000's, 8300 at 61 mph is tops. All this was in a slight, very slight, down hill. It does take a bit of distance to get into the 7000's, (maybe 1/4 mile) but heck,, it is just a 150.

Well all is sounding good if it gets into the 7000 rpm range. Do you know what gram weights are in the Variator? Alleyoop
