Alright scooter folk..need some help..I have a fuel line that runs from tank to silver contraption.. Filter in between..the fuel line runs thru this thing then down to carb..it(thingy) also has two lines that run to intake manifold n topside of carb..they r TD off past thing..what is this? N can I get rid of it n install a on/off petcock? If yes what do I do w/extra lines that run to intake manifold n carb? All replies will b appreciated..keep the rubber down

When all is good the set up works well. The round thing is a pump and shut off. If there are any vacuum leaks it will restricte flow. Make sure the vacation lines are not cracked. Make sure the fuel lines are not kinked and that there are no low spots.
