Got a 150cc Sunl scooter, been left sitting for 2 years. Wouldn't start. unclogged fuel lines and could get it started with some starter spray into the air intake. Adjusted the fuel air mixture screw, all the way to the right clockwise, then 2 turns back counterclockwise. Put on a new spark plug and a new coil. Cleaned the carb, put it all back together. Still needs to be started with started spray, and now it idles, and will respond with acceleration, but the second it goes back to idle it dies. Need some ideas as to where to go next.

Got it running well and starting without spray after messing with the idle speed screw. When I walk away and come back 5 mins later, its back to the original problem with the dying after accelerating. When it starts the right way, the wheel doesn't move, and then I can hear the engine pick up and then it moves way too fast for an idle speed. Its the only setting that works for starting and accelerating without dying though.

Valves first, then adjust your carb.
