Last time I rode my magnum a head light bulb burned out. So I ordered bulbs. When they finally arrived I went out to change them. I noticed a puddle of fluid under the trike.I proceeded to take off the plastic to get to the coolant fill neck and noted that the coolant over flow bottle was empty. it wasn't running hot according to the gauge. so think it started leaking after I parked it. I took off the radiator cap and it was also empty. I am not sure where it is leaking from yet but appears to be water pump. Will have to get trike outside where I have room to work on it.

Bummer, hope it drained out after you parked it and did not cause any damage to the motor. Alleyoop

Do you have a pressure tester some auto supply store loan tools check before you start taking things apart.

Yes, I do have a pressure tester, but not needed. After I got it out in the drive and up where I can see without standing on my head I confirmed it is leaking at water pump housing. I am going to pull it off tomorrow and see what kind of seal it is. I don't know if it is gasket or o-ring seal, as I haven't had to tear into it yet. Hope it didn't do any damage to cylinder or head. If so I may upgrade to 74mm piston.

upon closer inspection it appears to be leaking from the drain bolt. I took the housing off and the gasket looked good. I peeled the old gasket off. it tore as it was stuck pretty good. So I made a new one. Was going to pull the pump off of case but the two hex head bolts were really stuck and I didn't feel like breaking them off at this time. so I put new gasket on and noticed when I tightened up the housing that the three allen head bolts were just a little bit long and the housing didn't tighten up real good so I ground a little off the end of the bolts and it snugged up good. I need to find the proper size copper crush washers for the drain bolt. I have not had a chance to run it yet and see if it still leaks. Roy

You found the problem,,, bolts were bottomed and not clamping the cover,,, good deal ,,, there's a piston right there
