I started the majesty to blow off a few cobwebs and take a couple pictures for craigs list. Its been about a month since I rode it on the county road. Not only my back was bouncing but my gut was actually jiggling around and am not overly fat, 218lbs today on a doctor type scale! The klx on the other hand you feel none of those bumps. I do know when some times I get forced into some washboards on this road by oncoming traffic with the klx you hardly even feel them and the majesty with even less speed became almost uncontrolable. Untill riding some thing with an actual suspension you just don't realize how bad that scooter was. That majesty had to be built by a herd of morons.

YEA I am liking the KLX250s, it is almost 200 lbs lighter than that scooter. And it is maybe the perfect dual sport.

Lots of well seasoned riders are dumping the high priced spread ,,, kitting the 250 and calling it a dealy,,I actually found a plated klx450,,, which is rare in this state,,,but he wants a little too much for it,,,but I would like to have it

Some times when I want some thing bad enough the price is of second concern.

Take in the grocery store on times butter is $2 something a pound and the next time it is double that and I don't even think twice on it. I wouldn't take margarine home if it was free. Actually about all I really look at as far as food goes is "does it have transfat in it"

Don't know how much more I would have paid for the KLX but I was looking for a long long time for some thing I could ride with out hurting my body any more than necessary.

Most of the craigs list bikes are so overpriced I won't bother calling some one so stupid to price it like that. The KLX came from a radio station trading post. When a bike that blue books at $3000 and is priced at $4500 or more and then reads "it will need tires soon and you have to keep charging the battery" ..."but is in excellent shape" Or has a "bad title or no title" You just skip over it quick.

To even call one like that is an insult to my intelligence.

Someone had a 250 virago clone about 8 years old they thought was a 150cc bike for $3500 some time ago! Some people should not be allowed to breed.
