Fat boy how do the tires taste!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Selecting a tire is interesting, this is why. Keep in mind they have speed ratings and traction ratings. Pay attention to speed ratings. Figure out what type of riding you do. I ride daily till the road gets iced. I need an all weather tire good in the rain and dry. I do a fair amount of miles so I want a tire that will be able to last (not be gone in one bite).
I bought my vespa 250 used the guy had changed the rear tire. The tire speed rating was below the top speed of the scooter. I found this out when I was shopping for new tires. I was very lucky I tend to push at times.
I went with the power pure sc front rear.
Now with the 350 I will replace the stock tire city grip.

The reason your tires wear out fast is because they are PERFORMANCE tires which mean they have great traction and grip capability and great in wet weather they also give you a softer ride. But you pay for great traction, grip capability and softer ride, the tire wears faster. Performance tires with great grip, traction and softer ride are made with softer rubber compound and therefore wears a lot faster. If you want a tire to last long then you get tires with less traction and harder ride the rubber compound on those are hard and wear less. Alleyoop

Got a 6" spike in a rear tire on my bandit with maybe a hundred miles on it! It hit the rim, turned and bent and it came out the side wall. Still got the spike.
I was bent on revenge on every junk pickup with out a tail gate I saw for years after. That was a +$200 event.
