Sara Hoople Atherlay Dec. 22, 1958 - Sept. 21, 2015 It just came to my knowledge that a long time member here at Scooter Doc Jim (KZ1000st) has lost a loved one in his family his wife Sara after a lengthy illness. While I never met her I have known from conversations here on the forum that she was an outstanding lady, teacher, wife, mother and someone that I would truly have loved to have met. Please join in with me in best wishes and prayers for KZ and his family and best hopes for the future for them in this time of sadness and loss. Thank you all for your wishes and prayers. It was so senseless. Sara did everything she possibly could to stave off cancer but it hunted her down. First she beat breast cancer in 2002 and then we got the news in December 2013 she had an offshoot of ovarian cancer with a 27% survival rate. She fought hard but it finally took her down. I feel worse for my two stepsons. In their early twenties and their Mother is gone. Only the good die young.
