Once you have seen this you will be heading out to your car to see if it works. What a great trick. This is well done. A useful piece of knowledge, tempered with humor.
Might come in useful if you're being chased......and lost your car.
So much for the old saying, "You have water on the brain" Here is something that will be interesting to everyone especially us seniors who forget where they parked their car if your car can be opened and locked with an electronic key. Just because you are not a senior, still watch this video and learn something that may be useful to you.
The wave length of the electronic key is limited to a certain distance. If you want to expand it, learn the trick by watching this video. You won't forget it.

When I first heard of this... a year or so ago.....I thought it was some kind of a joke.
Like everyone else who hears of it.....I had to try it, and after doing so I exclaimed, "I'll be darned"

Is that what you told the guys in white that came later? If I were a betting man.....I'd bet you'll be trying it soon (probably after making sure no one is around watching you)......and you will say the same thing I did, or something close to it.

My fob, '98 Dodge Dakota, doesn't activate the lights. Just the locks. The security button flashes the lights and sounds the horn, so I would be NOTICED.

What I want to do some day when I am with some one else in their car, is to take my fob and keep pushing the panic buttom while driving thru large parking lots. Haven't tried it yet as when I leave home with out the car the key is left in it and I do not carry the key around.

About 12 years ago I went to Lowe's when I came out I hit my key button to my surprise I heard to clicks. So I did it again found a chevy was responding to my keys thinking this was great. I went up front and waited he went to unlock door as he did I locked it LOL. This went on a minute or so till he put his hand on handle and got in watching his lock lock and unlock this happened while he drove away still think of this when I go to any Lowe's LOL, You had to be there LOL

Tried it while pretending to scratch head....it works. Trunk lid popped right up. 40-50 ft and I usually have to just about next to the car.

I could do the same with a guy that lived on the next block. Then one day as I drove by I wondered about the garage door opener. YUP! reminds me of when I was bouncing at a club; a bartender was using an app on his phone to work the tv, until we foukd find the remote. Well one gaurd found it, and he kept changing the channel every time the bartender changed it back. I told him to turn the tv off whenever hit this one button on his phone. This bartender had know clue we had it, and even slightly glanced our way , a few times. We had customers laughing, and taking video- we were screwing with him for ten minutes, until he turned around. It was so funny. the bartender right next to him was recording it, and he didn't notice.
