I find it very hard to describe why I ride. It is just been part of my life for almost 60 years and is what makes me tick. I can't imagine what it will be like some where in the near future when I won't be able to ride. I believe I made a good choice getting a light weight dual/sport due to my failing muscles and the aches and pains that are part of my life today. I could have bought a nice 750cc or even a 1100cc shadow in the same price range, but then I would have a pile of metal that I probably couldn't push back into the shed my self should the engine faiĺ. (My shed floor is pitched up 2" in 12') that way backing out to go for a ride is a joy. I don't know if a trike would make me happy if I get forced into trying one, but just about any thing will be better than sitting home dreaming of better times.

A good friend of mine got off his yamaha star in the taco bell parking lot,put the stand down and told the guy next to him "I don't feel good", colapsed and a was dead before he hit the ground.
Thats a nice way to check out, he Was 76.

Well me I"m 67 young entering next phase of my life, life is to short, do it before you no longer can enjoy live as much as you can!!!
