Hello everybody here

i want to ask some questions since i have bought an used chinese scooter(50cc/gy6) i'm new in this so plz help me handling somethings in this scooter

1)I have been always wondering what is the function of this bottle knowing that when i take a look inside it seem that there is a sponge?! i don't know were it was connected so if you have an idea plz tell me where to connect it?







2)the crank beather should i connect it to the "Air breather tube " or just leave it free.. i read some article where they wrote that in case the crank beather is connected to the air box it will throw oil wich will dirty the hole box so what is the solution in this situation?

The canister is part of the EPA emissions crap, you can toss it. I don't see a EVAP port on your valve cover, so it's probably the fuel tank vapor catch, but those usually have charcoal to absorb fumes.

The breather hose from the valve cover can be zip tied up high on the frame, allowing any blown out oil to drain back in, with a fuel filter on the end of the hose to prevent oil misting out the opening.
