Thank you cyborg . I did drench it pretty well before I quit for the day. Hopefully, tomorrow will bring success The question now is, after I get this thing off, clear any rust , and grease it and the axle, should this thing go back on there freely?

With the puller in place and snugged down nicely, a sharp rap on the end of the puller with a hammer, will usually shock a splined connection loose. Heat applied with a propane torch, to the area surrounding the axle, with the puller applying pressure will help too.
Reassembly will be a snap......I would suggest an anti-seize / never-seize type of product, rather than grease.

Banged the bejeezees out of it, borrowed up my buddys' torch.... Said a prayer... My Aunt said, " Praise God and pass the sledge hammer!" Lol! I want to replace the bearings down in the swingarm but have searched and don't find these particular bearings anywhere. I'm sure, I'll need another "C" clip too. I have emailed a couple of places for help but, if any you are "In the know" about these, I'd welcome the info! The number on them is "6203-88-21E"

Funny enough we live less than 100 miles apart and there's more rust on that scooter of yours than on all the cars and bikes in my neighborhood,,, wowsers

Agreed! Actually, there's probably more on ME than on the bike now! We are 4 short blocks from the beach. No escaping the salt and the moisture here.

I have found "6203" bearings but am unsure if they are a suitable version as the ones that I find are followed by different numbers than mine, such as "6203 2RS C3". I know that sometimes, those differences can mean a lot. Other times, not so much.

Thank you Alleyoop ,no. I saw that one and it doesn't have the characteristics of mine on the outer shell at all. It's perplexing, that it does have the exact part number. By what I've read, the "203" in the "6203" refers to the sizes of the dimensions Diameter (Outer): 40 mm , Diameter (Inner): 17 mm, Width: 12 mm. The "6" refers to whether its a radial bearing, axial bearing, etc; The trailing letters and numbers are the ones that worry me. I'm not sure if they are manufacturer specific and not necessarily cross referable by industry standards, inconsequential or , very consequential. The response that I got from one vendor so far, tells me that they don't have any specific knowledge about bearings to help me choose(Not a criticism) . I have to clean out the hub in this swingarm before I'll even try to get them out . Hopefully, they are in good shape (Dummy forgot to check movement in the wheel before removing it), in case I need to re-pack and re-use them. I'd really rather replace them for surety though, since the pounding that I had to do may have weakened them.

Here is a Bearing chart, I think you should go with 6203-2rs which means 2 rubber shields, one on each side which looks like what is on there. The important numbers are the 4 6203 and if they are metal sealed or rubber sealed or open and need lubrication. Alleyoop www.microbluebearings.com/pages/BEARING-NUMBER-CODE-REFERENCE.html

Aha! "RS" = "Rubber shield" , that's helpful, thank you ! I'll have a look at that chart later. Gots to git to dinner
