1) to try and sell a 250cc to the Police
2) to try and sell a Chinese 250cc to the Police
3) to sell a cheap Chinese 250cc to the Police
4) to horn in on American Brands domain.

There is more than likely a perfect use for them in police work. Look at the cops we see riding bicycles! Getting thru stalled traffic to an accident on the expressway would be one use. Pursuit downtown? Maybe!
Edit: got to thinking, with out a local service center there ain't going to be a prayer to get them sold to the cops any where!

They could start there own repair shop. Hire trained employees and open up to the public. Now that is Protect and Serve.

I don't know if you guys remember but I gave that rx3 the real long look,,,,if it was a 350-450cc I'd have one right now,,,,250 cc is too small for what I'd use it for,,,,,,unfortunately

The Cops pile on a lot of miles in a short time and use the bike all day/every day. I know the bike is good but this is a major test. Many a company has had to some major mods to the line after the Police got their hands on their product. I would love to hear more later if they land a Police Department account.

I read the cycleworld comments after the article and it seems some were made by grandsons of the same guys who cussed the crap from japan that first hit our shores in the 50's. There will come a day when the Chinese will be at the top of the heap and the japs won't be able to sell their stuff due to the prices.

There will always be those who will be able to afford what ever car or motorcycle that is the most expensive and have to show the rest of us up. And that kind of a sore spot.....we all have to carry insurance to cover us so they can drive a car worth 10 times what a typical American car costs.
