Amoung other things missing from my tao tao 50 is a kick start mechanism. I've been looking around and I've seen some that are mounted behind the cvt and some that are mounted on the case. What's the difference? Do I even need a kick start?

Yours connects to the center of the VARIATOR. Kickstarter are for emergency use when your electric start goes south(due to a dead or weak battery). Alleyoop  |

Ok. That all checks out.
My cover is on its way. I know I need different size bolts to attach it. Does anyone know the lengths (I beleive they are 8mm)
