I am going to replace my lines and hoses once I un tamper proof my carb. I want to bypass the vacuum petcock with a manual one. I'm don't know my way around a 4 stroke carb so I was wondering what inlets I need to plug if I eliminate the vacuum petcock. The fuel inlet is obscured but I see 2 that I'm not sure of. Do those get capped?

unless the fuel pump is malfunctioning, i would leave it. if it ain't broke, don't fix it. otherwise you can eliminate the pump, run a direct line from the tank to the fuel inlet of the carb, and block off the vacuum source on the intake manifold and hope your carb gets enough fuel.

I'm confused about the overflow outlet up top (not the bowl drain tube). It's missing the tube. What does it drain too?

The stock carbs come with a drain tube (see pic).
