How can i tell if my clutch is going bad what are the symptoms? My bike shakes at idle and my drive belt is chewed up any thoughts? Thanks

If the clutch is bad the pads will slip and cause shuddering on take offs and shaking. Or if a piece broke off holding the spring etc.. Drive belt chewed up is not good means something came loose or broke and ate the belt.   But you need to take the clutch off to find out what is the problem and get a new belt. |

Yea you don't want to be riding it like that and be pretty far from home and the belt breaks up into pieces and may cause motor problems if the revs go out of sight.
