I really did not hear any rattling but usually its the weights that rattle once they wear a little.

I have sliders and a new belt on its way.
I heard that noise when I first had it running, then it was gone, now it's back. I once thought it was the valves, but it sounds like its coming from the cvt to me. It kind of sounds like loose bolts rattling around

To pinpoint the noise Make a FUNNEL out of newspaper or just put the tip of a screwdriver by the area, Valve cover, by the Variator clutch etcc.. and the sound will transmit to the handle and you can pinpoint noises that way. Alleyoop

I took the cvt cover off and there was nothing loose in there. Ran it up and down the alley and it sounded ok. Ill have to keep an ear on it.
