Okay, here is what I'm finding, the red has voltage going at the final plug before the switch, black one does NOT until I turn the key. On the opposite side of that plug (Toward the switch), Red has voltage, Black does NOT until I turn the key on. At the back of the switch itself the Black has voltage (Key off) , Red does not until I turn the key on. No start or rear lights when I turn the key on and try the start button, but turn signals and horn are working.

What comes to mind is the scoot had an alarm and the JUMP BYPASS WIRE FELL OUT.

Notice Alley that I edited above, had my colors mixed up (Toward the switch). BUT, I just noticed that the colors red and black switch places after the plug. Is that correct? I never had unplugged it.

That would do it the jump wire popped out when you started the scoot several times with the vibration and now NADA.

Ok how about checking the GROUND for the start button. Has to be something that came loose something simple if all you did is shut it off and try to start it again and nada.

Seems backward to me normally the RED AT SWITCH HAS VOLTAGE and when turned to ON it pass's voltage to the BLACK WIRE which then feeds the rest of the system.

Ok, after the start up DID YOU TOUCH OR CHANGE ANYTHING?? I mean crap don't happen by itself Have you checked if this scoot has a fuse box? maybe it has one and a fuse blew there, Look in the glove box for a fuse box.

That spade for the start switch IS getting a bit tired but, it's on there pretty tight. I KNOW, it makes me crazy that it's usually some silly thing. I'll poke around some more. Did you notice what I posted about the red and black wires switching positions from one side of the plug to the other? I did not ever touch them though. I wonder if this is the thing that caused my neighbor to PARK the scooter and, not the valves? Remember, it would run a while then shut down till cool, as if the valves weren't opening.
