I'm out for a little ride on my Tao Tao atm 50 and it seems to sound different. I couldn't put my finger on it but it didn't sound like it usually did.
I got home and found the airbox unattached. Not only that my carb was ready to fall off my intake. I want to upgrade my intake to a better quality one and while I'm at it replace the airbox with an air filter. I'm running an 81 jet that was in the stock sealed carb. If I go to an air filter, how much more should I rejet? I'm happy with the performance of my bike, I just want to prevent disaster with parts falling off.

If you don't change the exhaust I doubt if any upjet is needed or only one size up if you find it's running a tad lean
