I have another strange question that has had me thinking. I have a slow leak in my front tubless tire,is there any safety or riding problems that you cannot stick a tube in and been done with it? Are the rims made differently for tubes or no tubes? Thanks for any input.

I think all of the chinese scooter rims are tubeless and the are slightly different. Why worry, just fix the leak. Take a windex bottle or such and fill with water and dish detergent so it makes bubbles when sprayed. Spray the tire and rim. For a slow leak might want to go a bit heavy on the detergent so it doesn't go away before the leak makes its bubbles. Rims leak too so spay it. Rims for tubeless tires fit much tighter on the bead/rim joint. Some of those hard old tires from china may never seat right. If thats the case just replace the tire but skip the tube. Tubes are a pain. If you don't know where its leaking you are wasting time and money.

The tubeless cycle rims I have had had the valve stem opening in the middle and the tubes are of to the side, like spoked rims. So the tube wouldn't locate properly.

Do your self a favor, new tires or not.....find the leak first. Valve stems and rims leak too!
