First time scooter owner and have a bunch of questions..UPDATED... Im trying to find the manual that comes with this scooter. (Same scooter as my avatar)(on the scooter it says Baccio Retro and the title says 2014 TAOI 49cc) 

Spark Plug recommended for Florida?
Oil recommended?
Gear Oil recommended?
What modifications would be recommended to make it go faster?

What big bore kit is recommended?
What exhaust is recommended as an upgrade?
What tools should be carried for roadside repairs, besides for flat tires?
Airbox?
Air filter?
flywheel?
weights?
upgrades?
derestrict?
faster?

Someone mentioned cutting a pink wire comming from the CDI that is located under the battery area but its not there when I checked. Anyone know where it is on my bike? Is it near the engine or near above the front wheel area?



Also, if I needed to order parts online for the scooter, for what scooter would I look parts up for because when I typed in Baccio Retro 49cc scooter parts or just Baccio 49cc scooter, only a few listings showed up?

also appears my gas guage is not working properly. I ran out of gas recently and had to walk it to a gas station. When out of gas, the guage says I have about 3/4 tank and after I filled it up, the guage went past the full line. 

Also, are there parts that come on it from the factory that should immediately be replaced with aftermarket parts? if so,please explain.

And sometimes while its idling, it will die and struggle to remain idling. Hopefully after I change the oils, this will fix because I think it was sitting for about a month or two. It rides fine but wont go past 31-32mph and sometimes when I stop, it will struggle to idle and die. Not all the time but fairly often.

After reviewing some youtube videos, alot of them recommended changing the needle setting so it moved it up one notch. I think it helped with the idling issue but not completely as it will still die while idling.

Im guessing the carb should be cleaned so I have to figure out how to get it out of there.

Is this what your scooter looks like:


If so it is 4 stroke and it has this carb. I labled where the IDLE SPeed screw is. Turning it clockwise raises the idle counter clockwise lowers the idle.

It has a CVT no sprockets like the motorizied bikes. It has a Variator and a Clutch

To make it faster you can put in a BIG BORE KIT so it produces more power, a bigger Variator in the CVT, different weights etc...

is Baccio Italian? I don't think so.

is there a maintenance schedule? other than changing the oil not really. common sense stuff.

what does a tune up consist of? change the oil, air filter, spark plug each spring.

what size jet to use? the one from the factory unless you go bbk.

on EBAY, typing in engine type or displacement usually ends up with better results. most parts (other than the body) are interchangeable. body parts will be the hardest to find so don't drop it.

if you want to go faster, get a big bore kit like alley said or get a bigger bike.

spark plug: NGK

the only thing you should change from the factory is the shipping oil to regular engine oil. some like to replace the factory spark plug and vacuum lines but I don't think it's necessary unless there is a problem. Chinese parts are better than they were.

Are there any adjustments besides the idle that can be made to the carb such as the needle setting to adjust the air/fuel mixture?

ngk cr6hsa plugs usually work

engine type is usually 139qmj

there should be an air/fuel mix screw that is sealed from the factory and you'll have to carefully remove the plug to get to it.

the speedometer and odometer I fixed myself today and it cost me $5.55 for a new speedo cable. Happy about that. Pretty easy fix. Im wondering about being the new owner of it though. I was told that it will cost me $260 to transfer the title and put a tag. Then I was reading something about doing something online and it would only cost me under $20. I read it really quick so probably misunderstood it and thought id ask here what my options are since its my first scooter.
