I totally believe California is nuts. 10,000 scooters can't polute as much in one year as todays nascar race.

They "need" all the mopeds and scooters there to be subject of the strictest polution laws in the nation yet allow nascar to race there! The polution of that one race that is just starting makes more smoke and rotten air than do all the bikes there do in a year. Guess I will go watch too, since I don't have to breath their air!

That fruits and nuts crowd sure has a weird sense of what is green.

Brugh I'm with ya in a general way.
There Not going to fix the air with cleaning up scooters or the local mx track.
My industry was affected big time by the Two Smoke downfall in lieu of the Four Stroke MX'rs.
Now that they got what they want  now "There too loud" oh waaaaaaa, if they had a clue.
Now lets discuss.
Lets leave out the Tire smoke and compare the engines. NHRA event is Blazing tires all day.
The Scooter market segment are the Worst maintained two wheeled vehicles on the road. i.e. Liquor Cycles.
to my astonished eyes Ive seen these guys change there oil at the car wash dumping it down the drain. unreal.
btw from tie to time I open a little time in NASCAR garages.

Many are in a horrible state of tune.
NASCAR is running 15% Ethanol. making somewhere in 2.42 or so hp per ci.. the are very efficient clean running engines tuned to the 9.
Safteyclean has Total fluid reclamation at the events, there is a very strong enfaces on Not polluting at theses events.
I lust look at One Jet at LAX or One City Bus .
