I have Ice Bear Magnum. one panel all the connections to the frame have broken off. I Emailed Jim at Rapid Repair and it looks like I can't get a new panel. The panel had a 2 1" pieces that fit into a rubber gasket on a panel attached to the frame. I am thinking of using an earth magnet mourned to the frame then epoxying something to the panel so the magnet will hold it tight. Wondering if I use meal power in the epoxy would the magnets pull it in? Any thoughts?

I do not think that would be strong enough to hold it nice and strong to the frame with vibrations and bumping around happening.

Two magnets face to face epoxyed one to plastic and one to frame for each tab might hold, but would have to in perfect alignment and strong ones. But if you loose the panel in traffic it will be gone gone gone!

I think I will try the strongest magnets I can find that will fit.

You can weld tabs back onto the panel. Just using a soldering heat gun. Melt the plastic together.

Or if you still have the pieces, as I had to do with many of the tabs on mine, I laid a couple strands of thin wire opposite the direction of the break or fracture, put a drop of superglue then, immediately put about a half teaspoon of baking soda on it and blow off the excess immediately. It dries as hard as heck! Anywhere else that you can fit some cotton gauze, screen material, or something like that, adds reinforcement too.

Got it on used a bolt sunk in epoxy for the front then used a bolt and washer to hold it in place, The back one I used what was left of the post and epoxy it. Best part is the sucker fires up on first touch of the start button. A few more minor things to get done like wind screen and it will be on the road.
