I have a 2012 VIP TAO TAO with a BB KIT installed bought the bigger 64mm valve head and wanted to ask after buying the rocker arm update for valves are the gap still .004 on both and is there any other adjustments I need to look at before installing this into the scoot the head I was using was stock so I bought the correct head and this A9 cam should anything else be looked at while this kit is being installed so I know while engine is out of scoot and what jets on carb should I be using just to confirm my upgrades thanks in advance ..

you can start with .004 gap and adjust from there. with the motor out i would look at seals and rod bearings.

with the engine out you can probably start investigating final drive gears. with a bbk, upjetting and new rollers for the variator you can probably expect a 5-7mph gain. upgrading the final gears should get you another 3-5 mph. any faster than that i think it would be more cost effective to investigate a bigger bike.

That pretty much sums it up,,,and after you break it in then I'd be looking at a tooth or two final drive change,,,that's where increased mph comes from with reasonable rpms,,,you can Change them with the engine in the bike,,,,Alleyoop did that on his bike and swears by them

ok thank for the help my main jet is 85 I believe I shouldn't have to change that or do I because all I added to my 80cc bbk is the head 64mm valves and the A9 cam ran really good before these 2 add ons and as of sliders what is recommended as I will be cleaning that area too only had about 500 miles on my 80cc kit with stock head so changing just head 64mm and A9 cam thinking everything else should be ok correct
