What is the difference btwn 6...8...11 coil stators?..Thanx in advance fer the info..

As you go up in coil count the available power (amperage/watts )go up so a 6 coil stator will barely keep up with charging and all the lights and other electrical loads,,whereas a 12 or 14 or 18 will provide more than enough with room to spare,,,I was very surprised to find a 6 pole on my Stella ,,,and at idle the lights dim with a low battery,,(like now my battery is shot so I got a new one,,cause it won't fire the starter,,,thank goodness the thing has a good kicker),,,
