Got tired of messing around with the original equipment battery ( exide) that came with the Stella ,,,went on eBay and ordered a yuasa 12 amp for a reasonable price $43.00 free ship,BUT read the fine print,,,ships dry with no acid even in the sealed bottles,,,bummer,,,so off to oreilly I went to buy a quart of acid $8.00 out the door,,so slightly less expensive than the batteries plus brand ( Chinese I'm sure) ,,got the acid last night ( battery a couple days ago) filled her up and charged it over night with my battery tender trickle charger,,,,,BAM!!! Now I don't have to kickstart the beast ,,even tho it is easy,,,,it actually runs better especially when the rpm's are low ( idling at a light),,,so far except for the super crappy main fuse ( glass tube ) ( changed to the blade style ) and 2 clutch cables,,,OE blew out at 1100 miles and the cheesy a$$ replacement I bought went away about 500 miles later ( my bad I went cheap like a dope and paid for my error),,, I ordered 4 super high quality replacements that came in the mail before the poor quality one blew out,,,the scoot has been pretty much trouble free,,,,I would not hesitate to buy another,,,those guys over on mv that down talk the Stella obviously never sat on one or rode it either,,I couldn't wait to sell my vespa,,,the Stella is not for sale

I bought a yuasa on ebay maybe a year ago too. No acid....ships cheap or free that way. Just happened to have most of a big container of acid from 4 or 5 years back.
