Jmstar 250 SSR. Do I need to put it on the center stand every time I want to start this thing? If so why is there a kick stand?

You can't start it with the side stand down for safety reasons. You can disable that "feature".

Thank you. Once I get the wiring figured out and the coolant leak fixed that will be next on the list.

I like the kickstand safety. I've taken off on my old Harley with the kickstand down and you can run into serious trouble real quick, I'll leave that one alone. On mine, the rear brake is peddle on the right side. There was a safety on that too, where I had to balance with my left leg and apply the right brake to start. I disabled that bugger.
