Our neighborhood had a area wide garage sale a couple weekends back. Who knew one of my neighbors had a scooter for sale? A clean Genuine Blur 220i with about 7100 miles. He was a real motivated seller thanks to his wife so he could get another scooter. Just wondering what I should expect as far as reliability and repairs? Compared to my Icebear trike pst150-19N it is a rocket. Big Woo Hoo! I rode to work 4 days this week about 100 miles. Great weather mornings, 105 degrees and windy afternoons. Typical Kansas summer. 30 to 50 mph roads no problem. The Icebear coughs up a lung maintaining 30 mph and my cost per mile maintenance is approaching $3.00 a mile. I am hoping the Genuine Blur is a lot more reliable. What is your experience?

You love it,,, it loves you long time!!!!! Good call,,, genuine is sn excellent make,,, a little trouble gettin parts but thank goodness they don't need them often,,, most people shy away from them cause of the high buy in,,, worth every penny in my book,,,,

You are kidding right?,,,the msrp on that bike is $3999,,,you got a screaming deal!!!!!!!!!,,, they are a killer machine,,faster than sh!t and handle great ,fabulous brakes,,,what am I missing?,,,,,, I'll catch he!! For this statement,,,because everyone thinks this is a Chinese scooter forum,,,,,Taiwanese scooters are superior in every way,,,BUT,,,,big but here,,,,you pay for it,,,can't compare a Chinese scoot that's under a grand delivered to a $4000 scooter,,,I love my genuine,,,I sold my Vespa to get it

Hey, Taiwanese, Chinese, free government cheese, it's all down under on the other side (except the cheese). I recall reading good things about the Taiwanese bikes and that just might be where I'll be heading with my next purchase. I'm starting to think that the 2010 Yager gt 200i for $1700 OBO might be a good deal and something I could really sink my teeth into. - That when their new Taiwanese scooter blew up they just gave up on scooters entirely.
- That the throttle on their new Taiwanese scooter got stuck and they're still going.... and going... and going...
- That they loved it so much that they packed up and moved to Taiwan just to be closer to where their new love was born.
- That I'm so full of crap that my crap has crap and you just read it all anyway.
How's that for some answers... just be careful what you ask, cause you just might get an answer. Not a good answer, not the right answer, not even a correct answer, but that's never stopped me from responding anyway.

It's the competition that makes Taiwanese scooters so good,,they are batsh!t crazy for scooters in Asia ,,,and there is heavy competition to see who has the best scooter,,,Sym/Kymco/ tgb Taiwan golden bee,,they are rabid to see who's best,,,
