Hey Guys, First time posting here, hoping someone can provide some clarification. I got a great deal on a 2008 Baron R scooter, exchanged 1/2 hour of chainsaw work for it. Owner couldnt get it started after the winter. I took over, replaced coil, spark plug, starter, and CDI. Had it all apart and got it started, runs pretty well all things considered. Well the GF was all excited to go scooting, so Im putting this thing back together in a hurry and *cue the idiot mistake*, I reversed polarity hooking up the battery . The fuse blew. I replaced that. The symptoms are now: -With key on, there is NO power to anything, wont turn over, no lights, no instrument lights, nothing. -It does kickstart and runs just the same as ever, when it is running, the lights work! -While the lights work (when running), they change brightness with changes in RPM and use of brakes. -Finally, the turn signals work properly only at idle. Once RPM's increase, they just light up and stay lit (dont blink). From my research, it seems I may be looking at a regulator/rectifier? ^If that is enough clues for anyone to say with more certainty, it would be much appreciated. Or if more info is needed let me know. Thanks guys! -Krause

Go to the bottom of the home page, get a generic diagram from the "Library" then get out your multimeter and start tracing the path of electricity starting from the + terminal of your battery.
