Tidbit of info for ya. During peak filling time at the "fire hose" filling station Closest to me, the pump ran considerably slower with everyone filling up.

The cutting the cross section may be the ticket. I suppose I will try this to see if it alleviates this issue.

I've cut a similar bar in the truck to be able to get the nozzle in there. I'm not familiar with scooters so didn't know that was there. It would have to help as getting the nozzle into small shallow thanks is necessary.

Followed link to ride, breaking out the bar is one thing as long as you don't over fill.
He mentions not using a impact to take off the nut on variator...how the hell does he think that nut was put on? Almost all the broken variators come from using hand tools to remove it.
