Help what kind of scooter I have um on left rear by cvt cover it states BN250CC I have also found part numbers on CDI BOX SMDT250C 11007 080701 I found that number on voltage regulator early this year I fixed a few hoses that popped out by carburetor and tighten down a screw to carburetor my dilemma now is the engine wont crank over it makes a quick click sound then nothing also the killswitch will turn the engine over in the off position ( well it just makes a quick sound now ) I have 2 new batteries also the ground and positive wire will sometimes get hot when trying to turn it over i disconnected the killswitch and scooter tried to turn over the light switch above the start button have never worked but wires are there also there are to plugs that dont connect to anything one coming frome handlebars the other is down my gas take and radiator im pulling my hair out trying to figure out the wiring and trying to find right parts please help yes im a female who wants to learn this scooter before i torch it ugh

The year and a few pictures would help to identify. Depending if cyl is vertical or horizontal will identify if it is a honda or yamaha clone. The screw on carb wasn't one with a little spring under it was it?
When the battery cables heat up probably doesn't mean battery is bad, rather there is a big heavy load on it. As in bad starter, bad short some where, or the motor is refusing to turn over. I would pull the spark plug and try to start with out the plug installed to see if the motor will turn over first.
