Me too, richardv ! I appreciate the attention and thought to it When it first happened, I thought the same thing immediately, I thought "How can my cores be bad?! Both are brand new!" Then, I remembered the beads, as one shot out at me, lol! I pulled the cores and found one stuck in each.

One of the nice things about the beads is....they can be reused when it's time to change tires. Here's a link to Dynabeads info, near the bottom of page are filtered valve cores.

I've gone to Motorcycle Superstore on numerous occasions for tires. Have also purchased them on Amazon, with Motorcycle Superstore being the one filling the order. A lot of things over $35 ship free on Amazon, at Mot Super it's $100.00 before that kicks in.
My wife says I'm cheap......I say no..... I'm frugal.

Thanks for the input .
I stopped by a local scooter shop where they wanted 68 bucks For a no name tire, I can get two name brand off the net for 70
I stopped because I do try to spend my money local but got a sketchy vibe And overall state of the shop was meh.

I got a Shinko(think that's the brand) tire at the MoSuStore down the street from me, it was about 40$, Took the wheel off, and brought both to the Honda dealership, the other way, a little more than down the street, and they mounted it for 24$ and some change.

I have spoons so I'll change mine over to save some coin but I will take them to be balanced.

Ok so I haven't ordered my tires yet because the little hop isn't atrocious and I've Been having far too much fun riding......
During my most recent excursion I had pondered the buying of a different size.
What if I purchased a 80 instead of a 70 that should give me a difference at the top end and a little more ride height.
So has anyone gone up or down from stock? If so what are your findings?

I'm running stick size on my Stella but I've done that several times on motorcycles as a matter of fact I'm running a taller rear on my dualsport right now,,, a little altering of the final drive without changing sprockets

A little more ride height is the ultimate goal seeing I don't intend to ease my turns any and drag the kickstand on turns, The few at the top end will just be a bonus.
Fitment without issues is my only concern seeing things are relatively tight already.

My scooter came from factory with 120/70-12's....front and rear. I have recently changed both to 110/90-12 Michelin City Grips. If you do the math, you will find the 110/90 is 30mm taller than a 120/70....or in English.... 1.18" taller, and 3.7" further around it's circumference. I don't remember the exact measurement around the 120/70.....seems like it was 46 and a fraction inches, so the 110/90 increases the distance traveled per revolution by something like 7%.
You would need to make sure that you have enough front fender clearance for a tire that will ride a bit more than 1/2" closer to it. Rear one should be fine, as it is on my long case 157QMJ.
I feel the scooter looks better with a higher profile tire....and the load rating is much improved too.....64 compared to 51. This translates to 616 pound max load for the 110/90, and 429 pound max for the 120/70. (numbers from Michelin's chart)

Right on!
Haven't done the math on sizes yet so that helps.
I will measure the remaining space from stock to front fender and see what I have to play with. Rear I don't have a problem taking it off because it is wonkey anyway.
Good looking out! Thanks!
