Im sure the answer is "adjust the valves" but I want to ask a few things first. I installed a new head because my old one had a stripped stud hole. It's a head for a 47mm kit which is fine because that's what I have on my scoot. I replaced my gaskets because my scooter leaked a lot so I had the cylinder off of it too. I got everything back together and now it had trouble starting. When it does start it's really slow. I adjusted my valves to .004. Is that correct? It's gotta be the valves, right? It's always the valves.
I've had the bbk in for a while and besides an oil leak it's always performed wonderfully

Yeah. It was the valves. The exhaust valve wasn't bolted down well and it came off.
Admin: delete this thread since it was stupid on my part and the answer was obvious
