Hard start. I have to force chock the carb to get it to start. Cleaned the carb. Noticed the air mixture needle doesn't have a o'ring. Looks like the plug is running lean.
Could that little o'ring be my problem?

So I'm not the guy to buy a new carb. Rebuild it maybe but I'm not so sure now that it is all the carb. I just got done with a valve adjustment. Set the intake at .003 and the exaust at .004. Little more luck with the start but after it warms up it is back to hard start. Have to force chock it. I think I have the idle screw set between 2.5 and 3.
I have goof blue spark on my plug so I don't think it is that.
Any suggestions besides buy a new carb
This is on a bronc rally 49 Model? Yy50qt-20
Not my first rodeo but definitely my first bronc.
Haha

You got an air cleaner on it? It seems you keep going in circles and it seems to be pointing to a bad air/fuel mix.
Why don't you start over.....AND.......lets have some history on it. Year of manufacture.
Did it ever run right?
Was it bought used?
Was a PDI ever done on it? Hoses changed? Is fuel getting into the carb and is the level right? Depending on the year some of the hoses are real garbage. When cranking engine the fuel line should be flowing fuel out if it is pulled off the carb. You will have either a vacuum petcock (higher than carb fuel tank) or a vacuum fuel pump, (floor mounted fuel tank). In either case with low vacuum your scooter will run like crap if it runs at all!
Did it sit unused for a time?
If it was running what happened? How is the compression? I would like to see some where around 140/150lbs.

So it starts cold which means choke is adding gas as it's an enrichner not a true choke,, then hard start after warm,, this is choke "off",,, so this leads me to a fuel delivery issue,,, I know you said you went thru the carb but it's gotta be pilot jets have some crud in there or maybe a shard of machining aluminum wedged in a port,,,
